Directors Monitor - Meza Bar London
We shot in the Meza Bar on Wardour in London filled it with 25 extras. A stunning location for a bar scene setting for Absolute. Our Gaffer Frank Usher and his team set to work on lighting this with equipment provided by Panalux.

Director Mark Dawson and DoP Stephen Murphy on Location discussing visuals and placement of actors. On the day Stephen delivered some of the most visually striking images to screen. There will be more updates from him about this online here including some screen grabs from the footage.

We shot on Red and 24/7 Drama provided all the camera equipment. The camera can be seen flanked by some of the crew at the Meza Bar on Wardour street in London filled it with 25 extras. A stunning location for a bar scene setting for Absolute.

Renee Willis our 2nd AC done a fantastic job of keeping everyone on track by operating the Deneke TS 3 digital timecode slate ensuring sound and picture was synced.

She is a very talented actress and has starred in number of roles including L'Ete Indien by Alain Raoust and Don't Touch The Axe by Jacques Rivette and many more.

Matthew Patnick - Will be heading up production of Absolute.
He started his career at the BBC, gaining experience on a range of dramas including 'HOLDING ON', 'VANITY FAIR' and 'BETWEEN THE LINES', after setting up and line producing the first series of the hugely successful 'WAKING THE DEAD'
Matthew left the BBC and became a freelance Line Producer. He has worked on a variety of high-profile dramas for all the major broadcasters and his credits include 'TEACHERS' 'FINAL DEMAND' 'AUF WIEDERSEHEN, PET' and 'HOTEL BABYLON'
He has extensive experience of low-budget and high-budget drama and has worked abroad in countries-Cuba, Dominican Republic and Thailand.

Marcus Catlin - 1st AD for Absolute one of the most experienced 1st AD's in the business. His credits include 'SPOOKS' 'TOUCH OF FROST' 'POIROT' 'HOTEL BABYLON' and the up and coming 'THE DAY OF THE TRIFFIDS'
